Perspective...

To whom it may concern, How would you feel if you were struggling from month to month on a limited budget and others were making money off of your idea? From the figurine you see above to things like Angry Orchard Hard Cider. How do they know the orchard is angry? They make actual tree faces to hang on trees everywhere and Disney comes out with a character called "Groot"! No one sees the fact that I have been writing The Tales of the Tree People since 2006? Bull! My books were sent to Disney and Pixar years ago. What on earth is taking so long? I am a single mother of two. I make less than nine hundred dollars a month and have to sign that I am disabled like others can't see the value of my work. I will be speaking with Disney in the future and most likely some other companies. My family needs the money. They have many needs that just aren't being met. It is so painful as a single mother to have to deal with all of this. According to my contracts, they must speak with me for film and merchandise rights. This is really bad timing because I just got a divorce and my babies need the money. My grandmother died and my mother is recovering from the same cancer that took my sister's life. I'm praying God will help me with all of the stress. Someone screwed up somewhere and I am paying for it. This has got to stop and change for the better. My life and the lives of my family members have been directly affected by someone else's lack of intelligence. I need to get busy contacting these companies. I'm thinking I am probably going to need to contact some attorneys. I am writing this post in hope that someone might be able to help because Authors deserve better treatment. If you know someone please contact me below... Sincerely, Lori E. Mazzola Maiden name Lori E. Prince?

The other day I caught a frog. I did not kiss him because I am not delusional. Yes I know the difference between fact and fiction well enough to write both. I am wondering about others though. I noticed Costco had a Holy Bible labeled as fiction. Just to set the record straight, it isn't. If you aren't sure if something is fact or fiction, look into it further. Gather as much information as possible and make a well informed decision. Kissing a frog isn't a good idea. Unless of course you're old enough, he's a French human and there just calling him that... Always use discernment when making decisions... :)

Snake Survival Taxedermy 101

This is for the girls... There is a belt I'm going to make from the skin of a chicken snake. There is a story behind the belt... My mom told me there was a rattlesnake in the Turkey and Chicken coupe. She had a look on her face that said, "OH POOP!" I caught it in a hurry though it tried to scurry. After finding it eating one of my White Leghorns, leaving the others there to mourn. I tried moving it into a plastic bin. The snake being to tall to keep in. I had no choice his head to pin. I pinned it with a shovel against the wall. It's a good thing I didn't fall! I grabbed its body and threw it outside. That snake had one ride before it died. I feel bad about killing the snake. Though one of my Chickens it did take. This is what I did with the snake. Though it isn't a rattlesnake it isn't fake! In snake survival it is safe to say, one shouldn't throw a thing away! :)

Snake for dinner? :)

My mom discovered a snake in the chicken coupe. She came up to my place and told me about it so I went down to the coupe with a shovel. I noticed it was in with the chickens and turkeys eating one of my white leghorns. I tried to place it in a bin with the use of a shovel but the snake disagreed. It threw up my white leghorn and tried to make a run for it of course snakes don't have feet so it failed. I jammed its head against the inside of the coupe grabbed its tail and hurled it outside. I'm now one chicken short but on the upside, looks like snake for dinner and a new belt. If anyone feels like joining me feel free to contact me on Facebook. We'll have snake for dinner. Perhaps if you know of someone who might be able to turn it into a trophy for me that would be neat because I caught it with my hands and killed it myself. I feel bad about it though it did kill my chicken. My daddy is going to be so happy! He taught me how to catch things! :)

I went to the local feed store with my daughter. We came home with six new additions to our family. They've already had their bin upgraded from a box... :)
